About Grand Master K.C. Chung

 

 

Grand Master K.C. Chung, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, is a Master of Masters. As a child, Chung was chosen to serve in a rare apprenticeship under one of Korea's traditional Grandmasters. His life of discipline and rigorous training captured him four World Tae Kwon Do championship titles, making him a nationally famous fighter. As a continuation of his Tae Kwon Do training, Chung graduated from Seoul University majoring in Education.

 

His career led him to the United States, where as President of the World Tae Kwon Do Association, he works to continually promote the art of Tae Kwon Do. A ninth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a sixth degree black belt in Hapkido with over 50 years of experience, Chung, through his dedication, philosophy, and spirit, inspires and motivates all who study under his direction.
